I think it's a great trick to have up your sleeves. I own the whole DVD and it's a good one. The Snapping stuff is only a small part of the overall anti-guard game presented in the DVD.

Whether you're a guard player or not, it doesn't hurt to know how to counter a technique and it doesn't hurt to know how your own techniques might be countered.
