I find cross body bottom to be the worst position to get into. I know it may not be an exciting topic to some but some good fundamental escapes ideas. Besides pulling guard..

I have four or five absolutely excellent escapes shown by Professor Pedro Sauer Black Belt Mike Diaz. He is one of my Jiu-jitsu coaches and is opening a school in Park City Utah January of 2010. I've been saving these clips for his grand opening in hopes that I can assist him in getting the word out about his new studio.
So, long story short, expect a series of four and maybe five escapes from bottom side cross beginning 2010. We will feature them free as individual clips on youtube and compile the series here on http://www.DamageControlMMA.com

This is one area that I am finding that I am very ill-prepared for. Once I am in bottom cross body, minus one escape that works half the time, I am totally stuck. I will bait someone into mount, because I am MUCH better at sweeping from there, it's so backwards I think, but size has it's advantages.
