Penn over Diego due to the fact that I cannot stand Diego.
Can Diego take Penn down? I don't think so. If it goes to the ground Diego will end up on his back and Penn will either work him over or stand him up.

I honestly think Diego is going to go balls out and gas a bit in the later rounds.

Mir over Kongo. Kongo doesn't have the ground game to hang. Although Mir's ego will probably get him his face bashed in eventually he will take it down to the ground and lock on a sub.

Pierce over Fitch. I don't know much about Pierce but I was very impressed if I recall correctly.

Guida over Florian becuase he has long hair. I hate Florian almost as much as I hate Diego. I love Guida becuase he is a wildman, is not afraid to get hit and just brings it. Florian runs away. He can't run from Guida.

You talk good sense hounddoggy. And that is exactly why I'll take everyone of your bets with the exception of Sanchez and Penn. I just don't think it's close enough on paper to merit a bet against Bj.

As always, I've applied the standard Kostanza rule and am betting that I'll get about 51% right as a result.

What's on the table hounddoggy? I've got a bunch of new T-Shirts for you to choose from if you want. I also have some shorts. What do you got? Maybe I can talk you into being a roving reporter for me and getting some footage from Matt Hume's gym. Ha ha… That's awesome!

BJ over Diego… BJ is THE BEST 155 fighter, period.. Don't let his forays into 170 spoil his image at the 155 class. Diego is kinda mental and started to gas against Guida (then again, who wouldn't, lol). I don't know if he can sustain it into the deep rounds, which is where BJ is looking better and better lately (that is where he ate up Kenny, after all).

Mir over Chiek… One of two things. Mir is talking about wanting to stand with Chiek to through off Kongo's game, knowing full well in the back of his head he is taking this down and submitting him, or he thinks he can stand with Kongo, eats one punch and reverts back to his BJJ (whether by choice or by instinct from being rocked, we shall see). Either way, this is down quick, Mir choking Kongo out from his back or breaking an arm. Also, lets not forget that Mir has added 25lbs of muscle since his last fight with Brock, he is trying to become one of the super athletes at the top of the HW scale, so he will be STRONG on the ground once it's there, and a much smaller Cain made Kongo look like a grappling dummy in their fight.

WAR KENNY!!! I think he is one of the best at 155. Kenny is quick, smart, a stellar Thai fighter and a BJJ black belt with a TON of heart. He is as big and as lean as he has been and switched from Sityontong in MASS to Jackson's camp in NM, and if anyone can simulate the aggression and relentlessness that Blanka… I mean Guida is going to bring and come up with an effective plan, its Greg Jackson.

Oh, and Fitch over Pierce. Lest we forget the heart and chin that Fitch has, plus he is great on the ground and a high level wrestler. This is the guy that got KOed by GSP like 12 times in one fight AND DIDN'T GIVE UP!!! He also rattled off one of the longest winning streaks in the UFC, and against some high level guys.

Kenny is actually training with GSP's trainer and Guida is training with Greg Jackson for this fight. Now how do you pick?

How about this Hounddoggy. If Dixie's is still open, and I win more bets than you, you've got to go meet the man and pick me up one of those shirts.

HA!

Interesting side note about Guida. How much privilaged information do you think Jackson shares with guys like that. Do you guys think that he just helps Guida get prepared as best as he can or do you think that Jackson focuses on the weakneses he might have seen in GSP's game while they were working together?

word. i havent been there in years but if they sell the 'i met the man' t-shirt ill pick one up.

im confused, Jackson has trained GSP but not Florian. Florian is training with GSP's main trainer. Guida trained with Jackson for this fight. Jackson shouldn't know anything about Florian. I think the biggest value add he will have here is developing a fight strategy for hit and run Florian. hey that kind of rhymes.

Hmmmmm… I guess I couldn't keep my facts straight! That does kind of change things a bit. I don't know if it changes it enough to pick Blanka over Kenny, and some of this might just be me liking Kenny a lot, but if anyone can come up with a plan, it's Greg, and if anyone can carry out a plan to the end, it's Guida… That just got a bit more interesting to watch! Thanks for the heads up man.

WOW Hounddoggy!

4 out of 5!!! Even when I go against my instincts I loose.

Oh, I get it now, if my instincts are to go against my instincts then I should just go with my original instincts. It makes perfect sense now.

Hounddoggy, you almost had 5 for 5. The Guida vs Florian decision is all that stood in your way.

I bow humbly to my master and I ask you which T-Shirt you'd like.
