Its gonna be an interesting night to say the least.  Discuss your thoughts on the evening.

I believe:

Paq is a legend in the game but he's getting too rock star for his own good.  Margarito might just handle him that night.  The Fighting Congressman has a 6" reach disadvantage but doesnt really have to cut weight.  Margarito is hungrier, hasnt slacked off in camp, and this win would skyrocket his career.  Manny has to get in there and get scrappy.  As a pressure fighter, Margarito needs to keep him at a distance and set up his power shots.  Its gonna be interesting.

Nothing seems to be going in Pac man's favour right now

He's having a bad camp

He doesn't seem hungry

He has political distractions

His opponent is a true welterweight with KO power

Margarito has a huge height, strength and reach advantage

Margarito is incredibly durable and doesn't take a step back.

Margarito is used to fighting bigger, heavier and stronger oppponents

It doesn't look good for Pacquiao.

One thing Pacman has in his favour is speed. When Shane Mosely fought Margarito he looked like the second coming of Sugar Ray Robinson because he dazzled Margarito with speed. Margarito couldn't land a punch on Mosely and the volume of shots finally felled Margarito. Pacman needs to use the same strategy but I don't think he has the power to finish Margarito.

If Pacman can beat Margarito it may be his greatest achievement to date. The historians will point to the way he beat Oscar De La Hoya but Oscar was severely weight drained and clearly affected by it. He made the Ricky Hatton fight look so easy that people started to say Hatton was overrated but even against Hatton, it was still at light welter. The Morales and Barrerra victories were incredible but again it was a fair playing ground. This one he has so much stacked against him. If he can win then he has only one victory over Mayweather and then he can establish himself as the greatest boxer of all-time in my opinion.

Wow, what a fight!!!!!!!!  Pacman was just incredible. His speed, timing, combinations and sharpness was spot on. The strategy was perfect. Pacman even tried to trade with Margarito!!! Best boxer ever!!!! I'm not saying that lightly either.
