I'm a big believer of supporting things I use. I feel that there is a lot of good instruction here and I signed up as a member because I think it's a great community you are trying to build and I want to support that. Now to my critique:

You have your members section sign up set up as an infomercial. You aren't the 'slap chop' or 'girls gone wild' of MMA. don't try to be that. Money is important and you deserve to be paid for the service you provide, but when you take the approach that you have to convince me of your worth then as a consumer it's much easier for me to walk away. Know your worth and value and be confident that those who seek out your site are going to recognize it as well. 

you have some great web developers no doubt, I just feel that their direction has been misplaced a bit. 

honestly I know i'm the new guy here, and I don't want to come in here and come off like a jerk. I just like what you guys are doing and I honestly feel like the approach has limited your growth a bit.
