Seagal makes it sound so easy to defeat Shogun.  Machida should be showing Seagal Technique instead.  Akido doesn't consider chaos in it's equation.  Everything seems to work only within a black and white and no grey area.

YES!! I can't wait for Machida to use some of this stuff.  I'v always been somewhat of a Machida fan simply because of his traditional background and style, here he is incorporating more traditional in his game.  Realzatoichi first off Welcome!! Second off I disagree, almost every technique from any martial art does not take a whole lot of chaos into account.  What Aikido teaches very well is body mechanics and weight manipulation.  Few Techniques will ever be "Perfect" or "Black and White" at least in a evenly matched fight.  Whats important is the knowledge and ability to use the stuff you learn and modify it to work for that situation.  Seagal doesn't seem to be saying it will be easy, he makes good points about simply stepping off to the side on a burst attack, and whipping the wrist to generate power.  The Techniques he is showing Machida are not far fetched or inapplicable in the MMA cage, I could easily see this working.

Very Interesting. I think the techniques are valid, their execution is valid but what I think Realzatoichi is maybe getting at is the way segal isn't taking into account the 2/3 punch combo's or the way he says if you clinch just push them away. Rampage will likely be trying to throw combo's and if he is attempting a takedown It won't be so simple to just push him aside If he as a good hold of you.

It's good to see Anderson and Lyoto being such incredibly skillful fighters yet still seeking out new techniques.
