Before you try out, this might be of use to you, it is the "grading" requirements they use, or at least, say they use to make selections.

 

Also, don't quit your day jobs when you hear, "You're on the final list, wait for us to call".  I can't tell you how many people I know personally who've been fed that line and it always turns out the same.

Very interesting indeed. I know a few of the better guys from my gym are trying out for this. My coach Paul Mcveigh said he's going to them. Should be a real interesting season of fights if it's the lighter weights!

interesting video from the perspective that there's MUCH more that's put into finding contestants than just records and abilities.  i didn't realize how much weight the producer's impression carries in the selection process.  though you didn't see the older guy move, but is it me or did he look jacked and ready to fight?!
