Brian, there should have been a multi national team for the olympics, but both the Welsh and Scottish FA's said they would not take part, because they wanted to keep their national identities.  So a team will be fielded and probably all English and then the Welsh and Scottish fans will complain about the English :) (nothing new then )

Hi Sterling, dont mention the EU!!

the UK was mis-sold entry into the EU many years ago, it was ment to be  coming together of like minded countries to trade instead we now have faceless unelected morons (mainly socialists/communists) who dictate our lives to a ridiculous level.  The UK passes laws, but they come second to those of  the EU and can be overturned at appeal, this has left the UK in a real state.

We have people convicted of terrorism who should be returned to the likes of Pakistan (where they originate from), but because of EU law we cant because it is believed the security forces there carry out torture, wow so what!  we then have to pay benefits for them to live here, they are not allowed to work, but are allowed to carry on the crap they were convicted of. Totally craziness.

We accepted guys from the lovely prison of Guantanamo(?!), because no one else , even their own countries, wanted them. We have become a magnet for all the radicals in the EU, because we strictly abide by the laws passed in the EU Parliament, the French, Germans etc take no notice of the laws when it suits them but winge if we dont.  As I said in an earlier post no -one likes the Uk in Europe :) The EU costs everyone in the UK approx $150pw in higher costs than if we were not in it, money gets paid in then shared out, but the UK pays way more in that it receives unlike the French, Spanish, Italy, oh all the socialist countries ;)

It is basically socialism by the back door, they know it wouldnt/hasnt worked so brought it about by stealth, I think if the UK public were given a referendum on whether we should come out it would go through with a majority. Maggie Thatcher, for all her faullts, tried to stem the tide, but Tony Blair welcomed it with open arms as he knew it would benefit his wife (human rights lawyer earning a couple of million a year from casesfrom increased participation in the EU) and his lawyer friends/partners.

The US is going down the same road with Obama, socialism by the back door, be warned:)  Career politician who has never done a proper days work in his life and cashes in on the colour of his skin (as some politicians attempt to do over here), doesnt matter what colour they are politicians all piss in the same pot and expect us to be happy when they charge us for cleaning it for them. I confess, I have a poor opinion of most politicians esp those who have never "worked".

The EU "The work of the devil" :)

Dr Sick, we have to put up with either White or British, while other racial groupings get broken down by country of origin eg Pakistan, India or general grouping Chinese, Afro Caribbean.

If applying for a Public sector job everyone knows not to put down English, Scottish, Welsh instead of BritishUK otherwise you will be classified as a rascist and certainly will not get the job.  There is a lot of social engineering been going on in the UK for the last 15yrs (Stalin/Mao would have been proud), so we have to be very careful not to show any pride in our respective countries in case it "upsets" immigrants who have settled here.  All it does is cause resentment against those same people and will eventually cause an outbreak of violence across the whole of the UK :(

Politics can be so boring, but it is so important to keep up with whats going on and being done in OUR name! I would have gone into politics years ago if it wasnt for too many skeletons in my closet ;)

Politics should be taught in every school in the world, that way those who seek the power it gives can be seen for what they really are, POWER CRAZED! We have troops dying to give the Afghans a democracy, but the majority dont even bother to vote at elections (Uk & US), such a pity.

Brilliant post mate and I agree with quite a bit of it however I subscribe to the dont vote you only encourage them brigade. The very fact that they want to be a politician should automatically set alarm bells ringing.

Remove ourselves from the EU whatever it takes before all the self motivated people have left this country.

Regarding the British football team, it is not well received north of the border for a number of reasons, if you look at it how many Scots or Welsh or Irish would make into the side on merit and remember this is an England side humiliated at the world cup. The other major reason it is opposed is that if we ever are represented at any level  by a British side it will then give both FIFA and EUFA all the ammunition it needs to make that the bench mark for further active competitions as is being asked by many nations looking for stronger representation at the world cup and Euro's.

Worrying times ahead.
