Hi guys,

I'm Chanhyung from South Korea. Actually, I was looking for some videos regarding thaiboxing or kickboxing in youtube, and I just got carried away here several days ago. I watched some sample videos, and I found it was pretty good. So I signed up for the member to watch more videos. Wow, this web site is the best thing that I've ever seen in years.

I'm interested in most kind of martial arts including boxing, kickboxing, judo, jujitsu, and MMA. And I'm also a big fan of UFC. I've learned boxing, judo, and jutisu before. But currently I'm learning and practicing kickboxing . I'm totally taken into it. I watched most of the striking videos in member training menu, wow. It's really cool and awsome.Espacially, striking formula is the BOMB! I finally found how should I put all the techniques that I've learned into sparring or game. Before I knew this striking formula, maybe I kept fighting without thinking much like neckless chicken just using techniques that I'm interested or that I've learned, not using my brain. It didn't work well most of the time.

But now, it's very clear to me. It's feels like archimedes who yelled "eureka" coming out of his bath. I really appreciate each and every coaches in the videos, especially Mr. Yamasaki who shows most of the striking, and also each and every coaches and people who built this website. I'm really really happy to be here with you. This web site is awesome.

Probably, I'll have my first kickboxing fight next month, 29th May. I'm pretty neverous because it my first match in my life. It's going to be

a tournament fight held in one day, maybe I have to win 2~3 games to win tornament. I'm thinking about fighting in 63.5 kg(140 pounds) class. Currently I'm about 68~69 kg. It's not going to be easy since I have to shed pretty much kgs, and maybe I'm freaking too old to fight.(I'm 30 years old but it's my first fight)

But it's okay. I think I know how should I do. I'll study more on the striking strategy and technique on this website, and I'll try everything that I've learned brian from the video, something like, "when in doubt, circle", "if you hit me, I'm gonna hit you back, if you don't hit me, I'm gonna hit you back"

I'll try and post how did it go or work, including videos if possible.

Thank you again, and great pleasure to be able to be with you!

P.S. I attach an interesting video of "korean zombie" chan sung jung's submission by twister.

I've never seen this technique before. Awesome.

Welcome to DCMMA Chanhyung!  I'm really happy to hear that you have found some things of use in our members area.  Especially the Striker's Formula which is material that is closest to my heart.

If you can, we'd love to see your fight video and hear updates about how your preparation and training are coming along.  Let us know if we can do anything for you.

Sincerely,

Khuen Khru/Coach
