Heya everyone! Just returned from basic training last week! That was something else! For those who care, I shot a 38, scored a 326 on the PT test, and was Platoon Guide for 8 weeks, was the recipient of my platoon's peer-chosen leadership award and was placed as the #2 overall soldier out of a company of 224. I went to not just survive, but to excel.

Hope I didn't miss too ungodly much while I was gone! I'm stoked to see all the brand spankin' new articles and clips. :)

Tomorrow I'm moving into college down in Omaha. I've checked out a gym called Mid-America Martial Arts there in Omaha, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to join up. They offer Muay Thai, Judo, BJJ, MMA, Jeet Kune Do, and Filipino Martial Arts. They've had a few camps with Sensei Paulson. That caught my eye. The instructors have trained with Sensei Paulson, Sifu Greg Nelson, Guro Dan Inosanto, and a few other masters. They've produced some international Muay Thai, BJJ, and MMA competitors and champions. Plus, they have a military lineage and have ties to the local military base, which gets me discounts. ;)
