Just picked up a new set of practice MMA gloves, as my Titles are starting to come apart at the seems (4 days a week, for over a year now).  Thanks to the 'Great Snow of 2010'  It's been 2 weeks since I have been to the gym, so I haven't put them to use yet, but after sliding them on and touching up my heavy bag a bit… They are GREAT!  BEYOND anything that anyone in my gym is using, great wrist support, great knuckle covering, and THE BEST finger loops I have seen.  A great set of gloves, well worth the money.  I'll get into more detail after I put them to use once we thaw out and classes start up again.

Good to hear.  I didn't catch the name brand or product name.  Were they "Fighting Brand"?

I've used "Amber Sports" MMA Gloves.  Pretty good gloves.  All leather, the only complaint was that sometimes the dye would rub off.  I fought in them, as well as a bunch of my students.  They weren't the best practice gloves by today's standards however but they were affordable and durable.

I've also tried Kikskin MMA Gloves.  They too were durable, and I fought in them as well.  They had a strange padding and were a little heavy for their size.  Again not the best practice gloves but mean to hit with.  And, they were a little more on the pricey side.

Right now I'm using Combat Sports Practice MMA Gloves.  I'm going on about 4 years with them now and they're still going strong.  They've been to 3 CSW camps and a bunch of mat time.  Not a lot of hard or heavy contact with them as I don't put them on the bag.  Occasionally I'll hit the mits with them but so far, no signs of significant wear.  They were a gift so I haven't factored in the price on them.

I love the Combat Sport gloves Dr. Sick mentioned.  It's great for MMA sparring because it gives your partner almost the same protection as boxing gloves while leaving your fingers open for grappling.

Only drawback is that the padding is so fat it can be difficult at times trying to wiggle hands through for chokes or out of training partner's grip.

Still, good product.  Would love to checkout the gloves zaxonortesus mentioned.
