So, as the title would suggest, i somewhat recently, while home on emergency leave in early January, bought a set of Everlast 4oz mma grappling gloves. while i would say i use them regularly, that is not to say everyday. and while ground and pounding a heavy bag today i noticed them coming apart in the knuckle padding seams. wtf. these are somewhat new gloves, i've had what will soon be two monthes and they're coming apart. i bought them at a fair price for about $50-$60. (funny side note: been practicing for almost 2yrs and this is the first set i've bought)

what sort of things do i need to look for, when i look for a new set of mma training gloves and gear to ensure im getting quality? i dont necessarily think brand is always indicative of qaulity, due to the fact im a pharmacy technician back home and regurlarly read up on drugs and their generics, which most times do measure up in quality at much more decent prices, and am convinced that if it's true for peoples health it's likely, probably, true in relation to some, if not most, other things…

I have the same pair. I got mine for $30, though, and mine are holding together just fine after 5 months of every-other-day use.

I let mine just air dry because only I use mine in my own little training area and don't have to worry about picking up anything from anyone else. Maybe the sanitizer or your method of drying affects the material or something.
