I was pretty impressed he was able to land it. It's super flashy for sure. I don't think he is able to pull anything like that off in the UFC though. It just doesn't seem like a very high percentage shot really. I'm kind of curious what else he has up his sleeve when he says he has 10 other kicks ready to come out when he gets to the UFC?

Honestly, I've been more impressed with the spinning back elbow of john jones, or the judo throws that brookins in the TUF 12 season was throwing. I think part of it was because I saw a kid at my gym try a similar move, get caught in the air and slammed for his efforts, he hasn't been back since.

Jones spinning back elbow is right up there. The Pettis kick just looked like something out of a movie. I never managed to see the TUF season at all. Would have cost me a new channel package subscription. Hopefully I'll catch up with it soon though.

you can always watch episodes on ultimatefighter.com thats how I watch the season. The kick was impressive and no doubt will be getting lots of playtime on highlight reels for sure.

Well what the heck is Dana White doing? why block that to the rest of the english speaking peoples throughout the world? we need to be inclusive to grow, not exclusive. I thought it was a good season and brookins was a worthy winner. when you get a chance I think you will enjoy it.

i did the DVR thing for the TUF finale and was really getting into the fight … until it ran past its scheduled time and i couldn't see the ending!  what the heck?!  ah well, like you said: you can watch it on the internet.

 

that move by Pettis was great, but it ticked me off.  see, i'm a big Henderson fan and was hoping he may be able to grind out the last round and maybe take the title with him.  next thing i know (and probably same for Henderson), he was layed out on his back.  give credit to Pettis for the balls to do it.  someone is bound to catch him though.

 

coolest move?  anytime does a Rampage-esque body slam for the KO!  not overly technical, but cool nonetheless.

Just checked out the ultimate fighter website and video's still are not available in my country. It really sucks man. The UFC signed a 3 year deal with ESPN in the uk and luckily with the tv package I have I already recieve ESPN although many people have to pay extra for it. TUF was on ESPN then moved to Five USA tv channel which is free for everyone in the UK. Then last year TUF 12 moved to sky sports which would cost me an extra £18 per month and the only thing I would be watching would be TUF, possibly the occasional boxing match too if it were featured. 

 

UFC said instead of alienating fans they hoped they would bring in more mainstream sports fans. This I find ridiculous. As you said the UFC should be trying to reach as many people as possible. My brother watched the whole season and he really enjoyed it. Hopefully I'll be able to see it soon somehow. 

 

Getting back on track. I was thinking of listing the coolest MMA moves ever that I can think of then maybe get them featured in a Highlight video on youtube. I think that would be cool.

I really like that idea. I'll start thinking of some of the other moves I've really liked. nice idea.
