It was a high intensity fight and Brandon was doing everything we worked on utilizing angles, ankle kicks and takedown defense. Josh countered well and opened up a nasty cut over Brandon's left eyelid. Eventually Josh was able to clip Brandon by changing stances and using a right hook. A contingency we had not planned on. It was pretty straight forward though. Jake pressed forward, took a takedown, passed guard, took mount and pounded away until the ref stopped it.
